At times I skip round the net, in furtography sites/forums, and the word 'macro' is loosely bandied about? Close Up: is exactly that, close up >>>>> ![]() Macro: is defined as 'life' size, A K A 1:1 .... the old film size was 35mm wide, so 1:1 means a subject is 35mm wide, it fits on a 35mm frame of film. >>>> ![]() It pings me off that the 2 while similar, both are extraneously lumped in the same word ..... to the uninitiated, when in-fact they are both separate fields of furtography. Anyone want ice cream with this waffle? ![]() |
