Sunday, September 28, 2014, 3:59:01 PM- Fire always fascinates me
In the age of Digi, programs are near only limited by ones imagination/capability?

again quite chuffed with what an old dog can learn grin [but you don't get to see the amount of CTRL/Z used, or hear the language] tongue

off to hunt down more ideas grin

Saturday, September 27, 2014, 2:17:00 AM- I like trying things :D
Digi is only limited by your mind, and I like a mental challenge, sometimes?

take a picture, turn it, add text, add flames to that text, add flame behind the text.

while it's not quite right, the old mental thinker is taxed, and giving up with a 65% effort grin

[and, i just wanted to blog on the new blog heading] tongue

Monday, August 4, 2014, 10:08:50 PM- Power lines ?
Once as a young sprat, power lines were TABOO in a picture ...... sometimes they do actually look good?

so do you cut and shut them, or do you get freakin fussy? and chop them?

a rough cut and shut, of what may have been a nice pix, if not for all the extraneous stuff? or still could be with an hour or 2 finely cutting and shutting, instead of a 10 minute rough cut.

any thoughts?

Macro flash?

while they are awesome, no doubt about it, the price scares me sad
if you are handy, you could adapt, as i did, some other lighting? .. yes i know field shots are going to be cumbersome?

but, 3 LED lights, for 10$, yielded enough light to light this EXTREME closeup, the working distance subject to lens was no more than one quarter inch grin

the exact setup ... used on that pic

ONE 3$ LED was enough for fifty pence ? and you can clearly see the working distance sad

never say never grin

"yes an open cheque book would be nice but lot of saving up is getting there slowly. I have heard lots say bout the canon 100mm so think I will scrounge n save a bit longer for it. I will maybe try the reversing lens one day too.

thanks again for the info and help and your knowledge :)"
