Wow Faith. I don't know the circumstances of the fire but never knew you were all in the house when it burnt down. My daughter lives in an all wood house and i've gone out and bought smoke alarms. In new houses in West Australia, it's law that smoke alarms have to be installed. My daughter always says that other than lives, the worst thing is losing all your personal items. So glad you have all come out safely and your getting your life back on track.
Love to you all,
Peter.

We had fire and smoke alarms in the house with new batteries. Two of them never went off and the one that did was going off as we went out side.

It just happen so fast by the time the alarms reacted it was an inferno. Our out side doors were all at the end of the house where the fire was so we had to escape around or through it as it was.

You better believe we have a outside door in our bedroom now for a third option.
