Hi ya all!

I hope all of you all are doing well.
lots of good and bad stuff has happen over this year.

Our house burnt to the ground back in April.
we all all 3 got out and we rebuilt on new property.

we bought a farm a few miles down the road and rebuilt. We moved in in August and are settling in.

Bella is a few day from 2 years old and full of Christmas Energy.

Due to my business and child I had to leave nn.

All most all my friends on there never talk to me after that, but ever thing went perfect to my plan for leaving with folks forgetting me or talking to me. I miss them but then again you find out who was your true friends.

as always

Faith, trust and pixie dust................the magic goes on!!!!!

Thursday, November 17, 2016, 4:41:58 AM - Moon shots ?
Once upon a time back when I was a little tacker, I bought a SLR, prior to the now Dslr.
I liked the art of Photography, so I joined a Photographic Society, a fancy name for "Camera Club".

One month the subject was set as "Moon", there were many many failures, white blobs, I too failed the set subject.

I learnt from that, the moon is 100% reflected sunlight, and as such one needs expose for Direct Sunlight, not the predominantly overall dark of the rest of the frame.

M is for Manual setting is your friend when taking the moon. I take a lot of shots in Manual mode.
I mostly Underexpose the moon by at least 2 or 3 Fstops, one just tweaks the dial, then press shutter half way to see the exposure level.

Pssssst, this a secret, do not tell anyone how it's done. :D

Wednesday, June 15, 2016, 7:24:31 PM - I used to be on another site, hmm, wonder which one
whilst on the site i made a ton of friends who have become friends in the real world
one of the things we shared were recipes

HP these were my favorite cookie for so long, my youngest would make them for me

Snickerdoodles

1/2 cup butter softened (no substitutes)
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
----
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Beat butter in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add the 1 cup sugar, baking soda, and cream of tartar; beat til combined. Beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in as much flour as you can with the mixer. Stir in remaining flour with a wooden spoon. Cover and chill for an hour.

Combine the 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon in a shallow dish. Shape dough into 1-inch balls, roll balls in sugar-cinnamon mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375F oven for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden. Transfer cookies to wire racks to cool.

This site could have been OK if Admin had listened to Brenda and to me, back in 2014. As it was, he ignored us.

It's a shame that Admin has lots of aspirations but doesn't spot when there's people around him who also have good ideas, and who could be of help, if only he would let them. Harness their energy, and all that.

Oh, well.

After 9 years on 'other sites' I'm kind of used to it, by now.

Been a while, since i have blogged,, here.

3-48am and i have been up for around 20 minutes, that magical time of year, when the early mornings call me.

I am hoping the forecast for clear skies are right, heading to a local wood to try and shoot the bluebells, with hopefully the first rays of the sunrise, landing on them.

Had the shot in my head for a while, whether it, will work, time , will tell.

Thursday, April 21, 2016, 8:56:47 AM - Love and protect nature like we love and protect ourselves.
My personal opinion is that we are busy destroying the life line enabling our mere existence for the sake of money. Money can't and will not buy us a new planet. Nature should be our first love ...

It rained today in the middle of summer! A thunderstorm with lightning and rain and everything.

I lay in bed and listened to all the flowers and grass (and weeds) squeal with delight.
